A storm went through while I was at McDonalds getting coffee Walmart getting supplies. So the guys huddled in the tent for a while. But were soon headed to the water to see if there were any fish biting.
They were so excited to throw some line in!
And Derek was excited to try out some of the flies he's tied himself!
It didn't take long to snag a trout.
And another one!
They're very slippery!
Miles somehow sets down his fishing pole often to catch little creatures.
There are plenty to be found!
Owen loves to be his right hand man in this. Until something nibbles on his finger!😂
After the rain, it ended up being a nice evening for some fishing!
Derek caught a few himself.
And then caught my shirt on his backcast! Don't stand behind a fly fisherman!
We fished until the evening whistle blew that signals fishing hours have ended.
And had a few trout on the stringer to take back to camp!
