The cleaning station is right by the 'swimming' hole.
The boys did a little wading, but it is SO cold because it's all spring fed.
Ankle deep in clear water is Miles perfect situation for catching minnow and creatures!
Like crayfish.
On the way back to our campsite it started raining, so we couldn't start a fire to cook. We used the camp stove burner to fry up some quesadillas. Then headed to bed.
It rained softly all night. But if you've ever slept in a tent, you know there is no such thing as rain hitting a tent softly. haha. Boiling water for coffee ASAP upon waking. :)
The big guys headed for the river wearing ponchos and had some success.
Miles and Owen were stuck wearing trash bags. Ha!
Miles said it was embarrassing, but didn't let it dampen his mood!
Until he hooked himself!!
