The way Independence Day fell, we stayed an extra day at the farm after all the celebrations. Derek's parents and a few other family did too.
We went to the Mleynek farm to visit with G'pa Don, who is battling cancer right now.
It was a nice visit.
The little guys tried out the remote controlled chair. ha.
But spent more time looking for toads in the flower beds.
They were successful! Miles snagged a big one.
And a small one.
We checked out the Mleynek farm equipment.
Sawyer wasn't into sitting on it though.
Back at G'pa Gordie's farm, Owen got himself stuck in the window well for a while. He'd jumped in there looking for a toad, but then couldn't get out.
He was only in there for a few minutes, so he was rescued while it was still funny.
There was also four wheeler time.
And more fireworks.
Card games.
Owen finally got his turn on the tractor! He was excited... if you can't tell!
We also ate until we were cross eyed. :)
As evening came, there were fireflies to catch.
And still more fireworks to finish up!

And a few other small fireworks.
