Super Kids Day 2019

The last day of school had finally arrived!  The boys' school holds "Super Kids Day" on the last day, which is a big event.  Only this year it got moved inside because of the threat of severe weather.  Like: Catastrophic weather that even Oklahomans where freaking out about!  Tulsa actually cancelled school, but BA decided to go ahead with classes, but with no penalty for no shows or early sign outs.  I had volunteered to help with the soccer field, so there wasn't a lot for me to do when that part wasn't in the equation. But since so many people either didn't send kids to school at all, or backed out of volunteering, I went to help out anyway.

So I mostly got to hang with my boys.

 And their friends.

There was less to do than originally planned, but the kids were good sports about it.

It was fun way to end the school year.  It was actually amusing because so many parents were picking kids up early because of the weather...  We would hear a name called over the loud speaker and all the friends around the poor kid whose name was called would sigh and moan that their friend had to leave!  And everyone would yell their goodbyes as they walked out.  But there were plenty of kids left to be crazy. :)

It was kind of just a crazy time.

And it didn't take me too long to realize that my kids were definitely not the only ones with holes in their socks!

We were done and I signed the boys out just a few minutes early.

And that officially wrapped the school year!

Which made Miles really sad.  He actually cried about missing friends. :(
So we went to pick up Owen from Daddy's office and stopped for an ice cream cone. haha.

Then went home to watch the weather!
