Spring Break in El Paso - Pool (Pity) Party

Back at the house, Owen had heard rumors of a jump into the pool.  He was ready in an instant!

Once I'd dressed him more accordingly..

The kids lined up, ready to go.

Now, we knew the water wasn't actually ready for swimming.  The temperatures had only been in the 60's and 70's.  But they were all ready to do the first pool entry of 2019!  Or were they?

Poor Owen.  He had no idea, and I couldn't convince him.  I felt the water later and wondered why I had let him do this! ha.  Jonah's (far left) pool entry won at 'most creative' or CRAZY for sure!

And Owen jumped in willingly as you saw in the video. But did you notice that anyone else that got in was pushed in by Jacob?! ha! You can also hear Miles screaming for his life while Jake chased him around the yard trying to get him in too!

Thankfully, once pushed in, Jaedyn grabbed Owen quickly.  Because I'm pretty sure he couldn't breathe! 😂💦  Aunt Angie wrapped him in a towel and calmed him down.

But he was soon really upset again.
He wanted to swim so bad!
But he didn't want the water to be cold.

Everyone was warm, and calmed down by dinner.

We ate really good the whole week thanks to my sister!!
