School picture day meant the boys chose their own outfits and we tried to do something with their unpredictable mops of hair...
Later that morning, I needed to go pay the fees for hot lunches, since Miles forgot his lunch in the van one day and had to eat hot lunch. Oops. As I paid our debts and added some money to their accounts for the future, Owen made himself at home in the empty lunch room.
He had brought his snacks along in his lunch box and got right to it.
He didn't have much time, of course, but thought he was pretty big stuff sitting there!
Side Note: We were very spoiled with free hot lunches in the Peoria school district last year.
Owen went with me to browse a little after the lunch room snack.
He tried on some sunglasses.
And a purse.
And some overalls!
His commentary on it all was cracking everyone up, "This is cute. We should buy this. I like this one."... He was a little disappointed when we didn't make any purchases. ha. He's quite the sidekick these days!
