Oklahoma Aquarium - Miles' Birthday

For Miles' official birthday celebration, he wanted to go check out the Oklahoma Aquarium.

It was something we had recommended to us by a lot of people, so knew it was time to check it out.  We got there in time to see the otter feeding.

Then the beavers.

Checked out some turtles.

Then the boys found their way to the middle of one aquarium.
You can see Miles' face if you look closely!

Cooper took Owen in too.

And even Derek gave it a try...

Although he couldn't stand up.

He even managed to get back out! :)

We got a good view of the octopus.

And the jelly fish!

There are quite a few creatures to touch.
Horseshoe crabs...

Some shrimp...

But don't touch the clown fish right next to these! haha!

We found another tank with a viewing window inside.

You can see Cooper over there looking out.

And I would have watched this sea turtle all day!

Owen liked the little clown fish swimming in the anemone.

(Nemo!)

But lets admit it... Owen is easily impressed. ha.

Cooper and Miles were impressed with petting the bamboo sharks!

(There are also stingrays in the other half of the tank to touch)

Owen ended up soaking wet after that, so I took him to the bathroom to blow dry him.

Then we met back up with the big boys at the shark tank.

One of our favorite spots, for sure!

Owen was a little scared at first, it was actually hard to see that there was glass above it, he was convinced we were about to swim with sharks.

We loved the Oklahoma Aquarium!

And because the price of this visit, along with just one more, was the price of a membership... we're now members for one year! haha.
