We haven't found a church to call home in Oklahoma yet. We visited a different church every Sunday all summer, and have started circling back to attend some of the 'prospects' again. We went to church with our neighbors back in June, and in September their church was having a big event and all their campuses were meeting together. So we decided to go join the fun. The boys always enjoy going to church with Koda and Brodey.
After church, there were games and bounce houses...
And FOOD! A lot of food, all catered by local favorites.
The kids barely ate, of course... because: Bounce Houses.
Over and over.
And over and over.
Owen also grabbed the dunk tank balls.
And tried to sink someone.
He didn't even get close so someone lifted him up and let him hit the target with his hand! It was so, so hot that day, that I might have volunteered if given the opportunity.
There were also cookies, which melted quickly, even when eaten in the shade.
We also had a chance to catch up with friends we met when we lived in the Kansas City area. He is the worship/children's leader at one of the church's campuses on the other side of Tulsa. They have two boys, the younger was born a day before Owen.
Time to cool off!
