One day we were in the living room and Owen loudly exclaimed, "There's a hummingbird!". We all looked, and sure enough, there was one hover around the flowers on our bush out back. So, on our very last day of summer break, we put up a hummingbird feeder.
Then we watched...
Miles still believes that if you wear sunglasses or goggles (😂) and the hummingbirds can't see your eyes, they won't be afraid.
It only took about 10 minutes for us to have a bird on the feeder!
Then several more over the next few hours!
We're pretty amazed and have throughly enjoyed watching them right outside the living room window.
