Good morning! We somehow got the big boys out of bed and dressed without waking Owen.
They looked over the flies while they ate banana muffins.
Derek boiled water for coffee while I walked to the restroom.
(It was quite a way to the nearest bath house!)
Derek had to take his coffee to go, since these guys were ready!
But I settled in with mine... since Owen was still sleeping.
Our phones barely had service, but we'd taken walkie talkies. Shortly after Owen woke up, Derek radioed us to say that Miles had caught some sort of strange little fish. He wanted us to come see it, and bring a camera! haha.

We later found it on Google as a Sculpin. It was so strange!
Owen brought his fishing pole too, he was ready to join the fun.
But his attention lacks a bit.
So it's a good thing the big guys were successful.
Cooper was proud of his two trout.
Owen was ready to head back to camp. He would have sat in the hot tent all weekend, he thought it was just a play fort.
We took a short drive over to the fish cleaning station, which is right by the swimming hole.
Where Miles caught minnows.
While we waited for Derek to clean the fish.
Anytime we let Miles loose with his net, we eventually have to drag him away.
Back at camp, we prepped and cooked our fish for lunch.
Which turned out marvelous!
Miles wasn't quite as fond of it, but Cooper loved it.
Owen was hesitant.
But liked it.
And tried to eat it all. :)
We cleaned up and got ready to head out for more fishing.
Our shade canopy got caught by the wind and we had to take it down. Boo.
