Cooper and Miles had a half day of school in September. So Derek took a couple hours off in the afternoon and we went to the Wheels O' Time museum.
It's only a couple miles from our house and we've been meaning to go for years! We won free passes from a library drawing so this was the perfect opportunity. There was a lot to see and we didn't waste any time.
Owen was not disappointed when we saw a lot of trains!
Or clocks. That was one of his first words! :)
There were gadgets and trinkets everywhere!
And a whole lot of antique cars.
Even a small one to sit in.
There was also a Barber Shop quartet... comprised of U.S. Presidents.
It was just a little creepy! haha... if you listen closely in the video, you'll hear Miles say, "I'll never sleep again."! 😂
There were a lot of hands on displays, and Owen found any button low enough to press. Including the one that made the trains go.
He would have stayed there to watch all day!
But he didn't mind moving on if it meant he got to sit in an old firetruck!
Or an old Ford and honk the horn.
One building had a lot of tractors... like G'pa Gordie's.

Only we decided Grandpa's actually look nicer.
Last, we got to go check out the train cars!
We asked the boys to stand by the engine for a photo. Then Derek went to blow the whistle while they were standing there. We though it would scare them and be so funny... turns out it wasn't nearly loud enough to startle them! ha.
They did all have fun pulling it themselves though.
One of them had some toys inside.
A train track, or course.
And a tea set. Impromptu tea party!
Wheels O' Time was a fun afternoon activity!
