In September, we participated in See You at the Pole at the boys' school.
There was a family that helped facilitate, and since SYATP is student led event, the kids did the leading. One of them, Nathan, is in Cooper's class. I was really proud of them, they did such a great job!
I could't help but feel proud of all the kids that showed up to pray for their school, teachers, community and nation.
Side Note: We figured out shortly before this event that Cooper and Nathan had done AWANA together at Bethany Baptist Church, when they were four years old, right after we moved to Peoria! It was a fun connection to make.
