To: Alexa, From: Owen

We'd been shopping around for a bluetooth speaker for the house. On Amazon Prime Day in July, we scored a great deal on an Amazon Echo.  She plays music, answers questions, plays games, give us the weather and time, and cannot order from Amazon since we shut that feature of immediately. 😀  She goes by the name, "Alexa".  So anytime we would like her assistance, we say, "Alexa" and ask her a question or tell her to play music etc...    Owen caught onto this fun little thing right away!  In the first video, he is trying to ask her to play, "Jesus Loves Me"! 

In this video, he was trying to get her to play Froggy Fresh songs...   

a common request he hears his brothers holler at poor Alexa.

Now, hang with me as I change subjects a little.  :)

We went to see the movie "Trolls" when it was the featured free summer movie.  Owen loved Princess Poppy! 

One evening, him and I went to do the shopping. 

This was the same trip that a gentleman in Aldi walked by with the big tub of pretzels and Owen yelled, "Pretzels", so the guy just started handing them to Owen to eat!   We also went to Walmart to finish our grocery shopping, and picked out a birthday gift for my niece, ALEXA, while we were there.  

It was a little Princess Poppy!  I thought Owen understood who it was for, but as soon as we got home from the store, he got it out of the bag and gave it to...   ALEXA!!!  

😂😂😂

He even told her, "We buy this!  For you!"

I got out his cousin book that Aunt Angie made for him.

...showed him his cousin Alexa's photo and he agreed with me that the photo was Alexa.

But it was all still lost in translation for some reason.

Because no matter where I put the birthday gift, it always ended up back by our Amazon Alexa!

I thought wrapping it would help...  nope!  Owen still knew it was in there, and still tried to give it to Amazon Alexa.

...often!
