July held the Christian Center end of year baseball carnival/awards.
The boys always look forward to the carnival games.
And like, last year, Cooper and Miles jousted each other.
It seems like they can't get much momentum behind their swings, so it's a very slow match... but pretty entertaining anyway! :)
They pitched to a radar gun to see how fast they can throw.
And took a few swings at the floating baseball.
Owen had been waiting to try something he'd had his eye on since we arrived.
The Batman slide!
It actually had an obstacle course first, then the slide. I didn't get many pictures, because he surprised me at how fast he went through it!
Except right here when he was barely strong enough to push through...
he slowed up a bit but then made it!
Then he hesitated at the top of the slide and needed a little coaxing.
But loved it once he went!
Our neighbor's grandson plays in the same organization, so "G'pa Neighbor Dale" and another grandson, Nolan, were there too.
After the games, it was time to head inside for the awards. They had Ben Zobrist's Dad, Tom, there to talk a bit.
That part actually got a little long so Owen hung out with G'pa Neighbor Dale in the back.
Then they passed out the awards to each team and player.
⚾ Great job, boys! It was a fun season. ⚾
