Sundays

On Sundays we head to church.  Sometimes we only go for one service, but often we end up there for both.  I help with Sunday School and kid's music, so if I'm helping during second service, I like to go sit in the first service.  EITHER WAY...  we try to be at church for donuts and coffee that happen in between services!  I think Owen would enjoy it even more if he knew that nursery drop didn't happen immediately following.  Especially on weeks he's just been retrieved from the first round of nursery if we're doing both services! 

 Miles likes to jump in front of the camera no matter when, where or what circumstances!

Sunday afternoons are often relaxing time, but are sometimes catch up time for Derek.  This particular Sunday, he was leaving for a work trip the next day, so was doing car maintenance.  Owen watched him changing brake pads.

In between playing in the yard.

Miles wanted to help.

In between playing Ring Around the Rosie on the tire while it was off.

Working lug nuts is a good life skill though!  And he was all in.

Then played with Owen in the yard again after finishing. 

Because he was teaching Owen important life skills like finding ants. 

All cleaned up and inside for the evening, Owen and Daddy spotted a bunny out in the yard!
