Blue Man Group

When I found a spot by the pool in the morning, it wasn't hot yet, but the sun was nice and warm.  So I'm pretty sure I actually laughed out loud when I noticed the lifeguard was wrapped in three towels to stay warm. 😂

Kind of ironic, since a little later I ended up finding a shady spot for a while because I felt like my skin was getting too much sun.

I think this was the day I took a short nap before splurging on an iced coffee to drink while I got ready for the next 'date night'. 😄
They don't put coffee makers in these rooms, which at first left me a bit disgruntled.  Or fridges, because eating leftovers later would be mean you spend less money in Vegas? Ha.

Derek got back a little later that night, but we had time to grab some dinner and head to a late show:
 Blue Man Group

When we were shown to our seats, there were ponchos on them...

I voiced my opinion that I wasn't convinced having good seats was a good thing at this show if I needed a poncho!

Derek just laughed and put his on.

I followed his lead and we settled in to enjoy the show!

Next thing we knew they were passing neon streamer paper around asking us to tie a piece on like a headband.  Derek was on the end and had extra, so also made a necktie.

Once the show started, we weren't allowed to have phones out.  So this #bluemanselfie (that I found on their Facebook page later) is the only photo of us during the show.  Derek and I are to the left of the aisle in the third row back.

I stole some photos from their website to show you why ponchos are provided.

It wasn't all messy, these guys are talented musicians and so entertaining.

Even when just beating a HUGE drum.

They also make a lot of unconventional sounds into music.

And play off the audience a lot, even giving artwork to someone in attendance... after they painted it with colored spit. Ha.

They also pulled an audience member on stage for one part.  This is from their website, so it's not our show, but it was hilarious how they ad lib and play along... all without speaking at all.  No one says one word during the entire performance.

The 'grand finale' was bright and fun, with colored paper and strobe lights.

And left a mess when the show was over!  I snapped this photo as we started to make our way out.

After the show, the Blue Men came out to take photos with people.  They still never say one word.

So, so, SO much fun!!  We loved the show and highly recommend it.  We'd love to try and take our boys to a show in Chicago sometime.
