Valentine Goodies

We don't typically make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day, but it is a fun holiday.  Cooper did inform me before hand, that if I purchased chocolates, "please get just chocolate, nothing on the inside".  Ha.  I happened across some cute little chocolate boxes with dogs on them at Dollar Tree when the boys weren't with me, so I grabbed them.  And I'm so sure that I told Derek about them, maybe even showed him before I hid them away.  So I laughed almost until tears when he came home one day saying he'd found chocolates with dogs on them at Dollar Tree for the boys.  πŸ˜‚ He had no idea I'd gotten some already.  They actually weren't the same exact ones, but still funny.   We set them out after the boys were in bed on February 13th.

They were surprised when they woke up to find them on Valentine's Day.

Owen loved his box.

And each chocolate had the same picture on it.

😍 My sweet Valentine also brought be flowers. 😍

An adorable Valentine package arrived from cousin Izzie too!
With a 17.6oz chocolate bar!

The next day, a Valentine package from G'ma Debbie arrived!

With lots of goodies.

Owen got Dori gummy candy...  he can say "Dori" and it's so cute. :)

There was something (lots of things) for everyone.

Dark Dove chocolates with almonds... YUM!

Even Owen wasted no time trying them.

He likes all things chocolate.

There were some sour candies too.   Cooper actually had a sore tongue the next day from eating so many!

Each boy got a HUGE chocolate kiss too.

They proved kinda hard to eat, but they were up to the task.

The snack bucket was stocked well!  And Owen knew it...  He knows the word, "Chocolate" well.
I must say, "Okay" for "YES" a lot.  Each of my boys had said that around this same age. :)

πŸ’— We appreciate all the goodies and felt very loved! πŸ’—
