We've actually had a pretty mild winter, but not often is it warm enough to play outside. But when it's warm enough to be in the outdoors, we're glad! Things have started to thaw, and we see the sunshine again!
Which sometimes means we head up to the kitchen table with school books, to enjoy the sun shining in our window.
We had about a week of warm weather and we took advantage of it, playing outside as much as possible. Owen likes to go out and ride his bike.
Or try out his brother's spinner sharks while they roller blade.
He also dug around in the sandbox...
And colored with chalk. (He calls this and coloring, "Cuh-lee"!)
It was so nice, that we did "Science with Water" outside.
We went across the street to play with the neighbor. Owen safely walks his bike across the street. :)
And through the backyard?? Ha.
Owen's trampoline (static) hair is the best!
And he's going to be master of the crows nest by summer.
The warm weather was a wonderful break in winter, it got up into the 70's. Warm enough Miles was out in bare feet!
And then, one day it got cold again and we had a dusting of snow.
It was back to enjoying the sunlight through the windows.
Though we do still bundle up and go out for a while now and then!
