We recently repainted the big boys' room. And by we, I mean Derek. :) We (also Derek) just shoved everything to the middle of the room, so it was a bit crowded. And boys keep so.much.junk. My job has been cleaning out and organizing in the aftermath.
Owen really wanted in on the action, so he liked checking Daddy's progress.
But when he touched a wall with wet paint... He got kicked out.
This project happened during the warm weather, so we were able to shut their bedroom door and open their windows to air it out. It was smelly since we'd used primer to cover stains. So the boys got to sleep a couple nights on the couch. Owen enjoyed joining bedtime reading.
He was a bit distracting though. Even after he'd talked Cooper into reading his book (Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb) instead of Cooper's (Kidnapped).
He loves his big brothers and will copy anything they do, even fake snoring under a book!
