CrossPoint Christmas Program 2016

Owen woke up Sunday morning, the morning after "Christmas" and wanted his new slippers on first thing!

We got around and headed to church, where the donuts are a highlight of the boys' week.

We stayed after church to set up for the Christmas program that was scheduled for that evening.  I've been helping in the kid's music during the year, and was helping out with the program.

We got the stage set in great time and were able to head home and eat lunch and let Owen nap.

Then we headed back for the program.  I was in charge of the stage crew and set changes... which was a little stressful.  So much so that I completely forgot to take a photo of my boys in costume!! Maybe you can pick them out of this photo Derek took from the balcony while running the audio for us?

All the kids did great!  I was especially proud of my own King Herod and Wisemen #2. 😊  They learned their lines well and said them loud and clear.  Which makes it even more disappointing that I forgot to put the mic out for the wisemen to speak into and you couldn't hear Miles.  Oops.

After the program, there was a cookie reception.

Owen begged snacks off of everyone and enjoyed being passed around by preteen girls.

We got home in time to cuddle with Baby Jesus.  Ha.

Then put Owen to bed and play a game of Sequence.  The board game the boys got for "Christmas".
Don't tell Owen how much fun we have while he's sleeping. 😉

If you would like to watch the Christmas Program in it's entirety, here it is!
If you want to see my boys' parts, they come in around the 11:11 minute mark.

If you don't wish to sit and watch the 16 minute video above, maybe you have time for this 16 second one.  During a set change, a pillar fell and hit me in the head... 😂😂😂
Thankfully, our set was made of cardboard!
