G'ma & Papa's Visit Day Two

Owen woke up and snuggled G'ma some more...  along with three binkies.  He still sleeps with all of them.

I worked on Mom's hair that morning and cut Dad's too.  Owen doesn't like to miss an opportunity in the chair, so after he kept insisting, he got his hair sprayed and combed too.

Papa occupied him outside for a while too.

When Papa decided to do some chores, Owen was right there with my squirt bottle to help clean off the air conditioner.

Papa proved to be a pretty good pitcher too.

He also proved he's worth his keep :) when he started cleaning leaves off the patio and vacuuming the garage rugs.  He switched the shop vac mode and blew all the leaves out of the garage too.

I really wish I would have snapped a photo when he maneuvered the shop vac up the ladder and onto the roof to blow the gutters out!!  Thankfully, that's when our neighbor (in the house pictured behind Dad) quickly came over with their leaf blower to help.  They also loaned Derek, who had just gotten home from work, their hedge trimmers to tame our neglected tree.

With all that production...(!) We decided to show Mom & Dad a good time that evening.  We took them to the Bass Pro Shop! Haha. :)

Dad forgot his wallet. And Derek forgot his gift card he's been saving.  So we were destined to do some 'window shopping'.  I think Owen would have preferred a window between him and this bear. ha.

He hesitantly posed for a photo though.

Then Derek gave Dad some lessons with a bait caster fishing rod.

We peeked in at the bowling alley.

And 'played with' some animals on display around the store.
(Aunt Mandy, Owen wants a raccoon like this next!)

We browsed the toy section too.

My boys LOVE the stuffed animals...

Owen found a turkey like the one he has at home.

Then found several more things he'd like to have at home.

A few of which he carried around a while.

Until he found the next thing to do.
(Another raccoon, Aunt Mandy! :))

G'ma put quarters in the machines and let the boys try some target practice.

Then Mom and I gave it a try at the shooting range.
Let the record show that I had the highest score. Ha.

One last stop at Sweet Cece's on the way home.
(Because The Spotted Cow was already closed.)

Miles dumped gum balls in his ice cream. (Ewww)

But even with their wild concoctions, the boys enjoyed eating it while they visited with Papa.
