Don't be fooled, my Dad did have some down time while he was visiting... but he sure did find some ways to be useful! :) He took the big boys with him to the hardware store, then to Kroger and got them a donut and brought me flowers. Awe. When he got back, he installed a light above my sink!
G'ma played Monopoly Empire with the boys while Owen napped.
(The best time to play a board game!)
And, see I told you, Dad cuddled up with the boys for some down time and a movie. Under blankets because a serious cold front came through that day.
Then, the inevitable, we all piled in the car and headed back to the train station.
G'ma kissed all the kiddos and headed to catch the train.
It was a short visit, but we're so glad they came!
