Independence Day 2016 - The Parade

We sat and enjoyed the parade, this small town does it big!  We saw the fire engines.

And antique cars.

And...  someone in a lion costume? HA!

Eventually, our guys came down the street on G'pa's tractors!

G'pa Dale always throws candy right at us.

Miles had a great time throwing candy from the tractor.

When they got close, I saw that he had two packs of Cooper's favorite (Dots) in his hand.  He'd saved them for his brother.  When he got within earshot, he yelled, "Here, Cooper!" and threw them for him.

We were near the end of the parade line, so Miles somehow got of at the end and made it back to us in time to grab a few pieces of candy for himself.

And see the Corn Kings go by, one of my personal favorites every year.

They put the horses at the end of the parade, maybe you can guess why...
Owen was excited to see his horse friends again.

And with that, another Yale Parade came to and end.

We saw G'pa Don in town and talked for a few minutes.

And dug into the parade loot.

And someone my boys found someone's poor dog to harass.  :)

Then Cooper took his turn on the tractor on the ride back to the farm.
