Independence Day 2016 - Afternoon Events

Cooper and Miles helped park the tractors in the barn.
Then we all ate lunch at G'ma Jan's before we headed back to town for more fun.

We caught the very end of the bathtub races.

Grandma Debbie stood in line with Cooper & Miles to get their faces painted.

While we took Owen over to check out the lawn tractor pull.

He liked it, but didn't appreciate us covering his ears when they started going.  It's loud!  As you'll see in the video.

Cooper and Miles showed up with their new look!!

Cooper's was pretty funny, especially with his eyes closed.

But Miles' patriotic cheetah was hilarious.

We watched a little of the horse show.

Then went over to the kids' games in the park.   Miles played "Needle in a Haystack".

He found this little guy in the hay.  His name is "Bandit" on the name tag, but we're still not all in agreement about what kind of creature he is.

Cooper did the watermelon seed spitting contest.

And forgot his face was painted and wiped his mouth on his arm!

The water balloon toss was next.  Cooper and his partner won first place!

They each won a Magic Water Balloon filler, but I must not have taken a picture.
So here's a photo off the internet. ha.

And Miles got in on the seed spitting before we headed back to the farm for a while.
