Mission: Stay Cool

After the zoo trip, we spent a while inside cooling down. 

That meant kiddos could have some time on devices.

But it didn't take long before Miles wandered out to see what Papa was messing with around the pond.  Two of a kind right there: Piddlers  :)

Then it was time to hit the pool!  Grandma has a baby tube with a built in seat, just right for Owen.

He just has to grow a bit to get out of it and join all the other rowdy-rough-and-tough boy cousins.

They're quite the bunch!

It's tons of fun to watch them all become good friends as they get older.

So many fun memories to be made in the years to come...  if only people would quit moving farther away.   The Rouses reside in El Paso, Texas now.   Whew.

I did some hair, so we all kind of alternated adults to supervise the pool.  But at one point I was hands free when my new niece, Lyla, woke up and needed attention.  Or at least I think I saw her squirm a little. :)

Derek got a turn too.  She's a sweetie. 

Speaking of sweeties... her big sister Kyndall was very sweet to Owen. ❤️
