While all together, we all decided to take the cousins to the Wichita Zoo.
Owen got to check out animals in the barn with Daddy. He was impressed.
And back in the stroller for the petting zoo goats, Daddy lured one in for him.
Which was a but over successful.
These goats like to be up close and personal.
Especially when they realize Owen is eating the food intended for them!
That's when we put Owen's binky back in his mouth.
But perhaps the goats still smelled food on his breath?
Because they were very interested.
And really wanted to check him out.
This one would have joined him for a ride!
We made our petting zoo exit and checked out the penguins.
And right after the muggy rainforest, spent Grandma's money on snow cones.

The tiger was napping right by the glass for us to get a close up look.
But we didn't spend too long at any exhibit since we had a goal in mind.
The new elephant exhibit!
Again, Owen was impressed.
And we wondered while we looked, is it inappropriate to eat an elephant animal cracker at the elephant exhibit?
We made our way to see a few more animals, only having to send someone back for a forgotten stroller (without a child in it!) once!
But by then we were all pretty hot and tired and ready to head to Grandma's house for lunch.
