"Black Friday"

Derek's Dad had to work on Thanksgiving.  So we had our "Thanksgiving" the day after.  I often go Black Friday shopping with my sisters, Aunt and cousins.  But the weather was bad and the roads were icy, so we called it off.  Which left the morning nice and relaxing.  We enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal, which was delicious.

Uncle Tyler started a wrestling match to work off the food.  Mason watched intently.  I'm not sure if he was interested, worried or ready to jump in and help his daddy.

Whatever the case, he decided to go help Grandma with clean up duty.

Miles hung out in the dog kennel for a while.
(No idea why)

And Grandpa let Owen play with a pink poodle.
Not something you'd find at our house.

Grandma and Grandpa entertained all the boys...

While Derek and I snuck away to Menards for a few minutes to make a Black Friday purchase...
Yep, an artificial tree.  Derek has been trying to talk me into one for years and we finally found a decent price on one.  A little piece of me died to go artificial, but we'll try it for a few years and see if Derek likes 'less mess'...and no live trees tipping over in our living room!

Our day ended well and Owen could found snoozing with his blankie.
