Anna took me to the airport to catch the redeye from San Francisco to Chicago. I slept very little and had the window seat, which was nice, except that there were two sleeping teen boys who didn't speak english in the two seats between me and the aisle. (the restroom!)
I made it to Chicago around 5am and had a couple hours to wait to board my next flight. So an overpriced airport breakfast was in order.
I finally got on a plane Peoria bound!
Although I don't remember much of that short little flight. We were in the air barely more than 30 minutes but I slept the whole way.
And was greeted by my boys with flowers! A great welcome home.
Cooper wasted no time digging into the (slightly smashed) crescents I'd brought from Aunt Anna in my carry on..
I also gave them the Apple pencils Aunt Anna sent for them.
And the t-shirts I brought...
And then I took a long nap.
