Sister Weekend the Bonus Day

We had planned to have Anna take us to the airport Monday morning before she went to work.  But because of our flight situation, we dropped her off at the train to head to work instead.  Angie was leaving around noon, so they said their goodbyes there.

Then Angie and I headed out for a morning hike.

Not a bad way to spend a morning we should have been in an airplane. 

Next we walked over to Trader Joe's.  Yep, Anna has a TJ's within walking distance.

Not very far at all from their cute building.

Then it was time for Angie and I to say goodbye when I dropped her off at the airport.

So all by myself, I decided to console myself...

I got In-N-Out!

I asked a stranger to take this photo. She was adorable about me getting to eat there when she found out I was from Illinois.  And that I wanted a photo to rub in to my husband.  :)

Once again, I sat in the California sun while I enjoyed my meal.

I had all day to kill and found lots of exciting things to pass the time. ha.

I was enjoying myself but was missing my guys.

Pretty sure I was missed too, judging by some of the texts I got from Derek.

Apparently they used their 'bonus night' to have a little party.

I laughed so hard when I got these messages! Ha ha ha ha!
