Birthday Boy

Some of the preparations Cooper helped me with was picking out Miles' birthday balloon and putting it where he'd see it when he woke up in the morning...

And Miles was happy to see it when he woke up on his birthday.

Sleepy... but happy.

Then he immediately went to wake Cooper up and tell him it was his birthday!

We cheated and instead of making a cake, Cooper helped me pick out cupcakes.

Which I might have let the birthday boy dig into right after he ate breakfast.

Cooper wanted one too, but not until I scraped the frosting off.

That's how he prefers them.

Which is fine, because Miles will eat Cooper's frosting too.

We got around and did school for the day.  I didn't even plan it, but Miles page that day had birthday cakes on it.

Then Miles had some time to do what he loves...

Searching for creatures.

This time, worms.

He also got fun phone calls from family and friends, including Aunt Anna.

So much fun with the day only half over required a nap!

A good choice, because we had more birthday plans.
