Miles had several fun little things sent to him after his surgery. The day of his operation cards showed up from Great Grandma & Grandpa Bauer with sweet notes in them.
And stickers.
A package from the Rouse House arrived that afternoon too.
Miles had been feeling pretty rough but this cheered him up.
Along with other goodies, he pulled out these...
Two little notebooks.
He got happy tears in his eye as he said, "I've never had any of these before.".
It was so sweet...he was tired, sore and on medication, but so sweet.
It took a few minutes to sort through all the fun things in that package.
The next day Miles got a card from a family in our Life Group at church.
It had Turbo on it... Miles loved it!
And they sent a Minion for Cooper too.
Miles Cubbies class at AWANA all signed a cute little card and sent it home with Cooper to give to Miles.
And later in the week another package arrived from Gramma and Papa.
Color Wonder markers and book.. with Dusty Crophopper from Planes.
Another day, another card.
A get well card from the Briones.
Signed by cousin Ethan and a Sonic gift card!
Which he used this past weekend!
He enjoyed a slush with a spoon since he wasn't supposed to use a straw yet.
All these things helped to cheer up my sweet boy. Thanks, everyone!
And I'm happy to report that Miles has been SO MUCH better the last few days!
