Christmas Day

After gifts were opened and things settled down we broke out the egg nog.

"Cousin Eddie" enjoyed some in his new moose mug.

(He got each of us a moose mug too.)

And we had our pick of lots of yummy food to graze on.

And spent some time enjoying new toys.

Derek and his Mama worked on some soups in the kitchen.

Derek is a good cook and enjoys trying new recipes.

Here he was whipping up his oyster stew.

Then a little while later we enjoyed broccoli cheese soup, chicken tortilla soup and oyster stew.

And then did nothing else...   :)    I even let the boys stay in their jammies all day.

We have a tradition to put a puzzle together so we worked on that.

Dale had to go to work but Drew kept us a warm fire going.

 And some of us sipped hot chocolate.

While others went for more egg nog...

While wearing Chubbies that he got for Christmas. Festive.

 Some relaxed watching a movie.

And more worked on the puzzle some more.

It was a nice relaxing day.
