On Derek's birthday we went for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Then we used a Groupon I bought a while back and went mini golfing.
Cooper called it "Granny Golf" the whole time and kept asking if we were going to "Stars".
He also insisted we go get ice cream after.
Think maybe he was looking for a re-do of Granny Camp??
My boys ready to play some golf:
Derek ended up beating me by two strokes. Eh, it was his birthday, I'll give him one.
Cooper's method is to walk up to each hole, place his ball near it and then hit it in.
So really... he probably won. If cheating means nothing, that is.
See that bridge? Cooper went running across it and tripped and fell.
I'm not sure if he was more upset about his skinned knee
or that he dropped his ball in the water when he fell!
It was a fun evening celebrating Derek and spending time together.
I love this man so much.
We didn't go for ice cream after golf, we went home and ate leftover cake.
And had ice cream in waffle bowls.
Then Cooper helped Daddy organize the tackle box we got him for his birthday.
And after Cooper went to bed, Derek played his PS3.
A Happy Birthday.
I don't really think rules do mean much when it comes to mini golf... so I'm adopting Cooper's method.
ReplyDeleteSpecial posts, thanks Amy!
ReplyDeleteAmy - you should seriously consider being a food photographer. I had a friend whose neighbor did this for Hall's Dept stores for their home store. It was to advertise plates, etc. You'd be great at it!!
