Tulsa Roughneck Game

A while back Miles' soccer team was invited to be the ball boys at the Tulsa Roughneck game, our local semi-pro soccer team.

They got their instructions and then walked out onto the field, holding hands with the players.  Cooper got to help too, since they were short on boys, and he thought the hand holding part was awkward! 😂

They stayed on the field during the announcement of the starting line up and then for the National Anthem.

We took our seats to watch the game, we had pretty good seats!

While the big boys took their spot on the field.

Their job was to hold a ball and anytime the ball in play went out of bounds, they were to throw the ball they were holding to the players and retrieve the out of bounds ball.
Honestly, I was nervous wreck the whole game because Miles kept inching closer and closer to the field every few minutes.  He had to be told several times to step back. He was supposed to be back by the dirt. 🙈

They also got to throw t-shirts to the crowd during half time.  Owen was trying to get their attention!

He got one! It will fit great in a few years!

The team also got to scrimmage on the field during half time.
In the corner of the field.  On portable goals. ha.

We ended up in a downpour before the game was over.

But that didn't dampen their mood, these guys had a great time!
