On Miles' Birthday, Derek picked up Chick-fil-A for him and met me at the school for lunch.
He loved having us there with him, so that was fun.
As soon as I picked Owen up from school we worked on the cake.
Miles came home with the leftovers from the birthday treat he took to his class.
And was quite pleased with the end result of his cake. :)
He opened presents as soon as Derek got home, since that's what fit into our scheduled the best.
He was pretty thrilled with his gifts.
..if you can't tell. Haha. Most items were Adidas brand and G'ma Debbie sent him the backpack he'd been wanting!!
Then we went to dinner at the Apple Barrel Cafe.
Miles says they have the best cheeseburger he's ever had.
All the boys like the burgers!
Then Miles had a little surprise!
He's a shy guy around strangers so it embarrassed him a little. ha.
But he got a free dessert for it!
Speaking of dessert, are you keeping track? Third one, I think!
We had the neighbor boys over to sing and have cake.
Miles had a very happy birthday!
