Cooper's Band Camp 2019

The Tuesday after Memorial Day, Cooper started Band Camp.  It was just for a few hours each morning, for four mornings.  So we dropped him off...

Then ran errands.  Miles wanted to buy this octopus mold at Dollar Tree! 😂

The middle school hosting the band camp wasn't in our neighborhood, so we stayed out while Coop attended.  After we went to that brand new Dollar Tree, we noticed a McDonalds across the parking lot.  And noticed that it had a PlayPlace, something we'd thought didn't exist in Broken Arrow.  Haha.  So we went to hang out for a while. 

And run off some steam. 

Owen was thrilled since he'd inspected every "French Fries" we've driven buy since moving last summer. 

This one was pretty fun and had a table that had lights reacting to touch.

Cooper hadn't had access to his trumpet until the first day of camp, 

so he was excited to show us about it when we got home.

It's hard to say it's not music...  but...  yikes. Haha!

This continued all week, Owen and Miles' favorite past time being the PlayPlace.
And I didn't mind sipping iced coffee while they played. :)


And we thought he'd have to send it back to "storage" until school started, but Cooper got to keep his trumpet after band camp...   I must say, he improved quite a bit!  And now he gets to keep practicing until school starts.
