The Saturday before Christmas, we loaded up and headed to Wichita to celebrate with family. There are too many copyright issues to upload this video to YouTube, so I apologize for it's low quality. We have fun with this White Stripes song and typically listen to it on repeat when we hit the road toward Wichita.
And, as you know, since we relocated to Oklahoma, it doesn't take all that long before we are welcomed to Kansas! ...by the windmills. :)
Owen helped unload the van. He was so very excited to bring in the gift he'd helped wrap.
To bad he immediately told Mason what his was! 🤦
It was such a nice day outside that we ended up starting a basketball game.
But it soon turned into hover board one-on-one.
Uncle Trey had some gifts for the kids to open.
Cooper and Miles got two drones. A practice drone and one for once they learn to fly the practice drone!
The boys played with toys.
And tried out drones.
Then I took my boys over to my parents for a few minutes to greet my sister and her family as they arrived from El Paso, Texas. Miles had been counting the minutes to when he could see Jonah!
This was the first time they met Hayden.
Who loved them immediately. 💙
My Californian sister showed up and suddenly, the whole gang was there! For just a short time.
Except Derek, he stayed back to start his oyster stew.
Which we all enjoyed for dinner.
Then Owen dug out his binkies and snuggled in with Aunt Mikiah.
I was sure that was where he'd fall asleep...
But somehow he stayed awake and put G'pa to sleep!
Then had a coloring party before bed.
Whew! Getting the celebrations started!
