Christmas Break at the Aquarium

While the boys were on break, we made (yes, another) trip to the Oklahoma Aquarium.  I should apologize, since you've seen all of this in previous posts.  But eh, if you're reading this, you already know that I document it all. :) 

 (Actually, you might be surprised to look at my phone's camera roll and see all the photos that don't make it onto the internet. 😂📷😂)

One thing different about this aquarium visit... Santa was there!  Kind of.

We like photo ops, and as long as we were at it...
 my boys are becoming accustomed to me asking them to take photos of me anytime I'm wearing an item from my AsherKate online boutique.

Then we went about our usual favorites, most of them the hands on exhibits. 

And things you get to see up close and personal. 

 The sea turtle is always ready for a photo op.  He fits right in!

He totally photo bombed our photo!! 

Owen always asks to see the piranha. He calls them the sparkly fish.

 

He also never wants to walk past the photo booth anymore either.  He still hasn't figured out I'm just using my phone, but give it time, I'm sure he will.

They changed the sting ray in the petting exhibit and they weren't as shy as the previous inhabitants.  Coop & Miles stayed in this spot for the full 20 minute petting time...

Then we took a walk through the shark tunnel.

And did a special thing we've never done before...

Purchased the shrimp to feed the sting ray!

It's three pieces of shrimp, so each boy got to feed once.

After a little more torturing touching of creatures...

We saw the alligator statue outside then went on our way!
