Road Trip Toward Thanksgiving

Owen packs his bag (of toys) days before it's actually time to drive to G'ma's house!

We were leaving for Wichita to spend Thanksgiving a couple days after Cooper's 5th grade play.  Still obsessed with braided hair, and since they were out of school, the big boys talked me into braiding their hair for the road trip. 

It's just barely long enough, and I'm not very good at braiding.

It barely stayed in until Derek got off work and we hit the road. ha.

But hit the road we did!  Right after we filled the van with gas and grabbed supplies. :)

Owen likes QuikTrip on road trips too.

We made it to Mleynek's in time to have pizza with everyone!  Mason (and his family) arrived about the same time we did.

That evening offered some pre-game pie testing!

And Mason slept over at G'ma Debbie's with us.

So the next morning held lots of cousin play time.

Some of it safer than others... 

Owen and Sawyer played with the race track for a while before we headed to my family's Thanksgiving.
