Highland Park Ice Skating Night

The boys' school PTA had a fund raiser night at the ice skating rink.  It's the cutest little rink at the end of Broken Arrow's already adorable Main Street.

We showed up and started trying on skates.  Mine fit.  Owen's fit.  Cooper and Miles both had to go ask for a bigger pair. (They're feet are getting HUGE!) And Derek just had to settle for a size too small since they only had a 13. (The boys don't get their big feet from me!!)

Owen could barely maneuver on those things...
But look how happy he is about it?! haha.

Finally, we all hit the ice.

Miles stayed close to the wall at first, but was soon speeding around without holding on.  Cooper remembered skating and picked back up right away.  Maybe even a bit over confidant thinking he could pull off a few tricks! :)

Owen hung, quite literally, with daddy.

I helped a little, but I'm not tall enough to hold him up in front of me without tripping over him.

I don't know how Derek kept up with this as long as he did!  He's a very strong man!

Owen exclaimed, "I love ice skating!" about 82 times while we were there!  I kept trying to get it on video and finally grabbed this.  Haha.  He wanted to skate alone so bad.

Not long after that, the biggest and smallest called it quits.
They looked so cute sitting under a lit up tree though...

The rest of us did a few more laps then called it a night.

We had so much fun!  And supported the school PTA in the process.  Win win!
