We spent an evening carving pumpkins we'd gotten at the pumpkin patch.
First, the boys drew their design of choice with a marker.
Owen didn't get far with his washable marker (we gave the big boys a sharpie. ha!) because it kept rubbing off. So he skipped right to the little tool that came with the carving kit. And thought it was hilarious.
Digging the guts out is always fun.
Owen made sure he got it all out.
...then he tasted it! haha!
Then finally it was time to carve the faces!
Owen had help with that part.
Turned out Cooper and Miles needed a little too.
They turned out so funny. :)
But they look great glowing on the porch!
And the seeds taste delicious!
