New Neighborhood Pond: #2

We took an evening and went to see if anything was biting in a different pond in our neighborhood.

But much to Cooper's dismay...

And despite being able to see them...


Derek's lone catch was the only fish reeled in that night.

You can guess how that made everyone feel.

Owen's fishing technique is enough entertainment for me though! :)  He doesn't cast and reel, he just throws his lure out by hand and yanks the line it.   Then sometimes chases it in circles!

Derek put a bobber on Owen's line and cast it out.

So he watched that for a while.

As we watched the sunset. 😍

That night, I found Owen sleeping with a huge stuffed trout.  But it must have taken up too much of the bed!  (or the crib mattress he was sleeping on so Cooper could have a bed that night.)
