After Miles discovered chocolate chip waffles back on day 2 of our hotel stay, it was the only breakfast he ate. It was often evidenced by chocolate somewhere on his person as we exited after our meal.
We had some plans later, but day 15 was our last opportunity to swim before we left. So we went for a morning swim.
Owen insisted on trying out his shoes in the pool that day.
Then, out of no where, after two weeks of us asking him to jump into the pool...
He just suddenly did it! All on his own! Haha.
He just suddenly did it! All on his own! Haha.
Then did it over and over and over! He started yelling, "Cannonbunga" too, which was a word Knox made up when Browns swam with us.
π The big boys loved Owen jumping in along with them! π
We went back to our room for lunch, collected binkies and put Owen down for a nap.
This was the day that our Pastor, his wife and their four daughters came by to say goodbyes. Their oldest daughter had just gotten back from a year of missions in Africa and brought us some fun little treasures from far away! Somehow I didn't take one single photo. Boo. We also talked a bit about Oklahoma, since that's where they're originally from. We love this Pastor and family and hope they're able to stop and say Hi sometime when they visit family in Oklahoma City!
