Our extended stay cottage was in a separate building away from the hotel. If we walked out our door and into the hotel, we still had to go upstair and across the skywalk to get to breakfast, the pool and the main lobby.
So we often opted to walk across the parking lot and in the front door to breakfast or the pool, but sometimes the boys begged to ride the elevator up, walk across the skywalk, then back down the elevator and out the door back to our cottage.
Having friends over to swim was a great way to spend a little extra time and delay goodbyes.
Aiden & Emma came one day.
The kids had lots of fun and made up all sorts of diving-for-toys games.
Then we had a quiet afternoon.
And when Derek got home, we decided to go out to eat. This was the only meal we ate out, since we could cook in our room's kitchen. And we had a lot of picnic and fun events that included food. :)
So, to celebrate the end of school, among other things, we went to Jonah's Seafood, which was right across the street. Miles favorite things was the cherry in his cherry coke. ha.
The boys tried oysters on a half shell.
Well, Owen ate the lemons anyway.
Cooper kinda liked the oysters.
And though Miles ate one, he wasn't a huge fan. Even with ketchup.
We all had some sort of seafood entree, Owen's fish included fries.
And we all left stuffed... carrying our leftovers. YUM!
