It only took until the second morning for Miles to discover adding chocolate chips to his waffle.
That morning we watched a recap of the royal wedding during breakfast.
Then we headed to the park to meet up with the families of all the Moms I'd been meeting with this school year for Mom in Prayer. All the kids immediately started climbing this death contraption and dangling from it.
I much preferred when Owen did this one instead. ha.
He also had fun spinning on this thing. I wish I'd been taking a video when he got off and thought he could walk, but instead fell right over from dizziness!
We all ate picnic lunches.
Then the big kids ran off to play in the ravine while the littles watched.
A little more playground play and it was time to go.
While Owen napped at the hotel, Derek worked on some Parental Petulance recording for the new album.
He helped the boys write a rap about bugs and they were recording it.
It turned out super fun!

We're trying to talk them into performing it at AudioFeed... Miles says he's shy, so we'll see!!
Day two at the hotel was also the day I realized that even though the washing machines said "$1.00" they were actually free!! That helped our laundry situation immensely!
We did a little afternoon porch settin' on the balcony before the day wrapped up.
