As we settled into hotel life, we decided that we were pretty excited about the perk of free breakfasts! ha. Sixteen days in a hotel meant sixteen days of free breakfast!
Cooper and Miles were still in school, so we headed from breakfast to drop them off at school.
From there, we went to the library where we discovered it was National Pizza Day. The craft at Story Time was paper plate pizza... and after Owen finished his, he took a bite!!
Next, we went to Aldi, then back to our hotel. As I carried grocery bags inside and up the stairs, this little thing caught Owen's attention.
In his defense, it was the lowest fire alarm I've ever seen. And since we've never encountered one within his reach, we've never even had a discussion about NOT pulling them! He DID pull it. 🙈🙉
It was so loud that Owen started crying as soon as the alarm started! I went into our room and called the front desk to let them know it was a false alarm. Owen followed me, grabbed his binkies and climbed into bed. Crazy kid fell asleep before it even shut off. What a way to make ourselves known to the entire Extended Stay Cottage building.
After his nap, we picked up big boys from school... then headed to the pool!
Because that's definitely another perk of staying in a hotel: Swimming!
Owen was pretty eager.
The pool was partially indoor.
Which was great for the first few days of cooler weather.
But part of the pool is outside, with a partition that hangs down but the pools are connected.
We didn't have long, since we had Life Group that night. Owen was disappointed to have to go so soon. Good thing we were staying a while?
