Desiring Dead Flesh was coming through Peoria again, so we (Marshall) got a third band (Neutral/Drive) and set up a show at ThePoint again.
We headed over to church and got ready to set up. It takes a lot of gear to play a show... mostly drums. ha.
The boys got ready too, but their prep includes mostly glowing balloons.
And Cooper and Miles made sure their LED shoes were on and ready!
We played last, so we had fun watching the other bands. Desiring Dead Flesh is always a good time!
And because it was our last (local) show, they had 'guest spots' for all of us that night. The guys sang the chorus of "Oh Oh Oh a Day with Dad" with the boys.
It was fun. :) Ashely and I both had little parts too, I just yelled "MTV" in the middle of one.
THEN: After our last show with them, Bryan had asked Miles to play the solo in a song they always have a guest play. He was nervous and wasn't sure he could do it.
Then he got up there and rocked out for a long time. Longest guitar solo ever? Haha.
He loved every second of it!
Owen spent some time getting tickled too.
And then we were up! This was a great time. :) We're getting more comfortable and playing together well... just in time for us to move and break up the band. It's a little heartbreaking.
Owen was happy when we were done, his favorite part is tear down!
He'd been waiting to take all those pool noodles out to the trailer all night!
