Packing Day

Cooper and Miles headed to school with flowers for Teacher Appreciation week.  We also packaged up leftover (shhhh) cookies from their garage sale stand for their teachers.  Along with chocolate chip cookies, I wrote notes thanking each teacher for how they've helped our family transition into public school this year.  We've had wonderful teachers and we're so thankful for the Kellar staff!!

Having to go to school meant Cooper and Miles missed packing day.  They didn't mind, but I'm a little sad their missing so much of the process.  Owen saw the movers show up and welcomed them.

It didn't take them long to get started, and Owen was curious.

He kept asking, "Where's my friend?" if one of them walked away... they didn't seem to mind him 'helping' a little.

Owen did take a break from packing to practice casting his fishing pole in the front yard.

And relax with his snack for a while.

Once they had the hall closet empty, Owen took up residence there.

He has always enjoyed sitting in the closet!

They got the boxes packed and left them in each room.

We've never had a company move us and have the luxury of movers packing our things before.  What a great way to do it! :)  We just had to walk around boxes until they came back to load the truck...
