Derek's cousin, Megan, and her husband live in Tulsa. Uncle Bruce & Aunt Brenda were visiting, so they invited Derek and I to go eat lunch to celebrate on Aunt Brenda's birthday! It was a great time celebrating and catching up... and Uncle Bruce bought me sushi. :)
We had a little time to kill so we drove out to some public land and looked around, saw a local lake and headed back. And soon, Derek's parents showed up with our boys! It was so great to see them again after a rather emotional week!
We pulled out the bug suckers we'd gotten for them... no one made it all the way to the bug.
Dale took us all to dinner at Oklahoma Joe's. It's great BBQ, but Owen ate mostly pickles. G'pa Dale even went up and asked for another little cup of them for him.
We headed back to our hotel to swim for a while. After all, that is the highlight of a hotel stay when you're a kid.
The big boys tried and swam for a while, but the water was pretty cold.
Owen didn't do much swimming.
Cooper did a little showing off for his grandparents before we called it quits. The big boys had sore throats and weren't feeling all that well anyway.
I had grabbed this inflatable orca at Dollar Tree that week, turned out to be a hit with the boys. Owen wanted to carry it back to the room.
Then it was time for bed. Owen slept with Cooper...
Owen is a wild bedmate.
Every time I checked on him he was laying on Cooper in a different position. ha.
