Easter Egg Hunt

The morning we were planning to go to an Easter Egg hunt, we woke up to this.

Good thing the whole event was moved indoors! A local church hosted this at the boys' school.  There were carnival games...

And face painting...

Owen opted out of face painting, but Knox and Levi, who came along, were all in. 

They also served popcorn and snacks.

Then called everyone together to do the drawing for prizes.

And a short talk about the Easter story and how Jesus died on the cross, and rose again, to forgive all our sins.

Owen took a seat and dug into his prizes.

Miles had found a couple of friends to stand with.

Then it was time for the egg hunt!

It went a bit differently than if it had been outside!

They dumped all the eggs and everyone jumped in a grabbed them.

There were plenty to go around!

The big kids were in a different room.

With tons of eggs over there too.

We let them kids dig in for a few minutes.

Then a photo op. :)

Then Derek pushed someone out of the show.

And soon we were home to take inventory.

Owen somehow ended up with face paint on his nose.

Eh, Happy Easter?

...it was fun for Miles.  He built snowmen that he called, Cooper, Miles & Owen.  :)
